"Come What May and Love It" -Joseph B. Wirthlin
I keep getting a feeling that I need to start a blog again. I mean maybe it's the fact that I am getting married and I should probably become a stereotypical "wife" but I also feel like I need to keep a record of my life happenings (even though they can have their dull moments). Also, blogging gives me an excuse to forget about my homework for while so here I am!
Despite my long days of working and attending school and planning a wedding, lately I have been able to find small moment of peace. I can get so wrapped up in to-dos that I sometimes forget to appreciate my blessings- big or small. This past weekend my roommates and I decided to go explore the wilderness. I am thankful to live in such a beautiful world. I mean like really: waterfalls, green trees, wildflowers, empty paved pathways, stunning views. I've been itching for summertime and now that it is finally here I feel as though I should take advantage. C'mon just observe a little bit of what I saw:
**Erm so. Shoutout to these two girls- Kylie and Sydney. We've kinda been the bestest of friends since almost for forever... It's weird how we've always planned our lives together but now we are each being pushed in different directions (I guess shoved might be a more appropriate word here). Sydney and I have been friends since we were in the fourth grade. She is going to serve an LDS mission for 18 months and I couldn't be more proud of her! I am going to miss her a lot but I know that she is doing what she needs to and I am so excited for this journey! Kylie and I met freshman year of college and she was always there for me. She is graduating next year and will become a Math teacher!!!! She is going to change some children's lives for sure because she loves teaching and math and adolescents (bless her). We're all of a sudden growing up and I don't like it much but I know that it is time. We'll obviously forever be "the three best friends that anybody could have."
The past two weeks I've been missing my best friend- Kyle. He turned 22 last Thursday and got to visit some very special people in Guatemala. I am so impressed by his continual impact on people's lives. Did I mention that this picture absolutely kills me?

Gosh, he is really one amazing boy!!!
As for me, I am just working on getting my summer tan...yeah ask me about that never. I've decided I am just going to become a beach bum this summer and stay in Mexico for all my life. Don't worry, you can all come visit.
But really, I am so grateful for the people that my Heavenly Father places in my life. I have mentioned a few of them already but I am seriously so blessed and I know that I am being looked out for even though I've been having a lot of health issues/under stress/just trying to get by. My friend Dan sent me this image a week ago and I can't seem to get it off my mind. Also I feel it's appropriate since it's May.
Best of luck in all of your endeavors!
