Boats, goats, and hooligans.

Six out of seven days my life is boring.  This past week my life was exciting five out of seven days and I just don't know what to do with myself.  In case you're wondering what in the world I am talking about, let me explain-

Wednesday started out boring enough.  I was getting some papers from the printer at work and I turned around to find... KYLE SITTING IN MY CHAIR!  I'll admit I was a little freaked out because I was supposed to pick him up from the airport Thursday.  So he took me by surprise and my lovely boss let me leave early so we could go on adventures...and we did:

Kyle took me on a tandem bike ride up the Provo Canyon upon which we saw a snake, threw rocks in the river, and enjoyed life.

Then we made some soap boats which... didn't float.  But we had fun trying to race our shavings anyways.

Our boats: Booty Wurk and SS Amanda.

Sometimes Utah is beautiful.  Thanks to Megan and Gabe we watched the sunset from this secret spot.

We tried to practice our "Dirty Dancing" skills but... yeah it didn't go so well.

I was so happy to have this boy back with me!

Thursday Kyle and I decided to go check out the new Provo Rec Center (we're in wedding workout mode).  This is how Kyle felt about it:

...no but really he loved it and I did too! The swimming pool had some sweet slides, Kyle got his butt kicked in basketball, and we ran two miles.

Friday: We needed some snow cones:

Um yeah, it was fantastic.  Who knew ice could taste so good?!

Kyle is so sweet, he flew all the way out to Utah and then made me dinner as well.  He is so great!

Sorry I don't have any documentation of our next adventure but I still had to share.  Kyle and I drove up to the top of Squaw Peak (AKA the prime make-out spot for those of you who don't know Provo) and we set up a kiddie pool I bought last summer.  We filled it with pillows and blankets and watched a movie on top of a mountain.  It was awesome to say the least. If anyone else wants to borrow the kiddie pool for like dates, I would recommend it.

Saturday: Even though it was rainy we still hung onto summer and went to a BBQ for Derek's work.

Kyle got in touch with his redneck side and ate a crawdad... (I did not enjoy this).

We sang some Taylor Swift to the goats, they seemed to enjoy it.

As always, we found the junk food. Kyle and I <33 cotton candy.

We won Lune some new friends: John Garcie and Bull-Loin.

Heh, Kyle actually loves registering.  We put some good items on our registry!

And we couldn't resist buying ourselves a little present...

These pinwheels provided plenty of entertainment for the rest of day.

Since we didn't get enough food earlier at the BBQ, we went to Tucanos to celebrate Dan's 22nd birthday (which happens to be today!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAN!!

SO MUCH FOOD. Like seriously, full for dayzzzz.

Sunday: We went on a Sunday afternoon drive and found another secret spot.  Utah is actually really pretty... what.

Annnnnnnd. Then I drove Kyle to the airport and I was really sad to see him go but I had so much homework that I kept myself busy and had to stop bloggin' all the time.

Don't expect this week to be as exciting (although I am going home in three days)!!

Peace and love.

<33 Amanda
