I Want Crazy.

Erm. So, I think you all should listen to this Hunter Hayes song while you read this post: Basically, he's describing my life right now (and 46 other people's according to YouTube).  We are down to 22 days!!! I cannot believe how fast time is flying by! Just one second ago I was getting in the car to visit Colorado and now I am heading to Idaho.  My teacher said I'm in the "white-knuckle" phase of life where I am just holding on.  It's true.  But I love my life right now.   My grandmother, sisters, and good friends threw me a bridal shower! It was so cute and I absolutely loved being able to visit with several people I have not seen in too long.  We played many embarrassing games that made me realize I do not quite know Kyle as well as I thought (that or he was just making up answers!)   We played a game where we were blind folded and we had to put on beach clothes.  Grandma kicked our butts!! Never thought I'd see h...

From the rubble: a reminder in gratitude

Life is fragile.  Like one minute you are editing papers and the next you are trapped in rubble.  I can't stop thinking about those children from Plaza Tower Elementary school in Moore, OK. I am grateful for my siblings.  They are all different and I like it that way.  I feel that I have a unique (and sometimes imperfect) relationship with each of them.   My roommates have been a huge help to me also.  There was one night where I was very sick and could not stop throwing up.  Literally these two angels  sat in the bathroom with me holding my hair and ru...

Boats, goats, and hooligans.

Six out of seven days my life is boring.  This past week my life was exciting five out of seven days and I just don't know what to do with myself.  In case you're wondering what in the world I am talking about, let me explain- Wednesday started out boring enough.  I was getting some papers from the printer at work and I turned around to find... KYLE SITTING IN MY CHAIR!  I'll admit I was a little freaked out because I was supposed to pick him up from the airport Thursday.  So he took me by surprise and my lovely boss let me leave early so we could go on adventures...and we did: Kyle took me on a tandem bike ride up the Provo Canyon upon which we saw a snake, threw rocks in the river, and enjoyed life.   Then we made some soap boats which... didn't float.  But we had fun trying to race our shavings anyways. Our boats: Booty Wurk and SS Amanda. Sometimes Utah is beautiful.  Thanks to Megan and Gabe we watched...
