Mexican Honeymoon and an American Fourth of July

After a crazy few weeks (or months), Kyle and I escaped to paradise.  I mean literally though- we went to Paradise Beach in Mexico!

It was such a relaxing trip that was also filled with several adventures.  Kyle and I toured Cozumel island via a moped.  I literally saw some of the most beautiful beaches ever.



We ate a TON of good food.  My favorite was the Tortas from Don Sirloin.  I gotta say, being able to get away from the real world for a while with my husband was absolutely fantastic. 



After coming home to a brutal three-day work week we were beggin' to go back!!  (I will say though I had missed 'Murica).

Luckily, my parents kidnapped us for the weekend and we got to go to Flaming Gorge in Wyoming.  Okay, let's be real I just wanna live in Wyoming someday.  I love me some rednecks and being able to wear my wolf shirts everywhere without getting weird looks.  Also. THE FIREWORKS WERE FANTASTIC.  Remember those days where you could light off your very own fireworks?  Those days still exist in Wyoming.  "Illegal"fireworks shootin' up every where.  Not to mention the semi-truck next to us supplied us with a Patriotic playlist during the city show.  I'm telling you- I love America.  





I just want Kyle to love America as much as I do!


It was so much fun to be on the lake again!  It was also a good time with my family- we are a pretty crazy family!!

The Land of Many Cheeses

There seems to be a common theme of frustration whenever I talk to anyone who has been applying for internships.  Believe me, I mean it when I say "I know how you feel." Thursday night Kyle and I cried some tears of joy as we realized that our seven-month trial of patience and faith was finally [[hopefully]] coming to an end...a happy end.  Kyle has been diligently applying for internships since September and even though he had submitted 100+ applications and had many contacts/promising outlooks nothing was working out .  I tried to be very supportive of Kyle through the entire process but may have hit a breaking point when I "filled" out my calendar for May and realized the great unknown that was post-May 3rd. Okay fine. So we'll just stay in Utah for the summer and work.  Kyle and I both found jobs and I even started making a Utah Summer Bucket list. To Anyone Who is Struggling with Fertility Issues:

Okay so in case you didn’t know, surprise, Kyle and I are expecting a baby boy potentially any day now! Also, before you assume by our lack of publicly announcing or posting any pictures, we are beyond excited. We spend many nights in baby's room imagining what this crazy but beautiful journey will be like. I've started countless blog posts but they all feel wrong.  Then I realized that I was writing them only to explain our lack of publicity about having a baby.  I don't need to excuse anything and instead, I want to reach out to anyone who may also be struggling with fertility issues.   I had a friend tell me that I must be excited because I’ve been waiting for this baby for nine months now.
