Mrs. Lontine in the house!

For some reason my self-confidence has been less-than-perfect lately.  I sometimes feel like I am not a good wife or that I do not have many talents.  So how can I feel bad for "bragging" especially when I feel like I finally succeed at something?

Real-talk though: I AM GOOD AT TEACHING.  Not even just good- I am AMAZING.  My life calling is to be a teacher.  I get kids.  Don't get me wrong though, teaching is HARD.  I have never been so exhausted (hence the reason I have been MIA) but teaching is also one of the most rewarding careers.
For example// getting hug-tackled when leaving for the day, receiving approximately 10,000 love notes in one week, making a fool of myself while singing but seeing the students' faces light up, getting beat at a basketball game by three second grade boys, and a student asking if he could come hang out with me this weekend.

I am so blessed to be a teacher.  It has been a humbling experience.  I work with students who have hard home-lives which makes me really appreciate everything Kyle and I have.

My first day! I love this school.

P.S. What better way to spend Halloween than in an Elementary classroom?!  I dressed up as Ms. Frizzle and my friend Emilee (she deserves a whole blog post of her own, she's the best teaching partner I could have ever asked for) Alice in Wonderland:

That's my other talent- coming up with bajillions of Halloween costumes.  This year included:

Top Gun!

Veronica Corningstone & Ron Burgundy

Clearly we love each other more than we love being the best Channel 4 news anchor

And of course, a Bronco's player.

Oh you know, I love the Broncos.  Especially when they win.

FYI: This poncho is lucky.

Anyways, everyone think of something you are good at and be grateful for all of your blessings and never stop smiling and always cheer for the Broncos, because that is the best way to live life!
