A shout out to the married life.
Okay, so you get married and then what?! You lose all your friends? You go to bed at 9pm? You spend all day perfecting dinner?
Um, no.
Maybe it's just the fact that I married my best friend but everyday is literally an adventure. I can't believe summer is already over but looking back we have done so much fun stuff!
I've definitely gotten my fill of red-neckery this summer much to my husband's dismay:
Like what is that lady wearing?!
For my birthday, Kyle got me tickets to see Brad Paisley!!!!!!! My goodness, it was a wild night. We had the weirdest people parked out in the lawn by us, it was almost more fun people-watching. Nah, Brad is one of those performers who makes you feel like your his best friend and always manages to put on a good show.
Kyle and I went on our very first camping trip together... here I am bragging about how warm it is in Sterling, and how the lake is always empty and the water good. Well, we got there and the lake was definitely empty but I'd say that was a cause of the 64 degree weather and stormy skies. Instead we spent all day in town "shopping" and happened to run across these fashionable pants:
Kyle wanted to be in the pants club too:
Haha, it was an adventure to say the least. The next day it cleared up though and I couldn't get Kyle out of the water!!
Summer's the best, some of our other happenings:
Hiking!
Picnics!
Rockies game!
Broncos & homemade pizza!
This past weekend we went up to watch my dad complete the Leadville 100 MTB race! So basically, he biked 100 miles on a mountain bike. I'm so proud of my dad!! I tried to bike five miles on the bike at the rec center and I was sore for a week, I can't imagine how my dad feels!!!!
My dad's "crew"
This is him crossing the finish line!
How is he still smiling?!
But really, married life is seriously the best.
So here's to the last few weeks of summer and a lifetime filled with the greatest of adventures.
